8th of March: International Women’s Day
It is not a “day-out’’, it ought to be a “consideration day’’. Women still suffer and are oppressed by social gender “rules’’, misogyny / sexist behaviours and stereotypes. Even our ’humour’ or daily routines are full of sexism…
How many examples can you recognize on your daily basis?
So, as tribute to the 1908 strike of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union, we just post two videos (one English – one Greek) that are here to remind us of the self-responsibility of fighting for women rights in any way we can.
Eight thousand girls per day are subjected to be “cut”… just numbers right? Not human beings!

And real stories…
Last but not least, according to the United Nations the theme for International Women’s Day 2015 is:
“Empowering Women, Empowering Humanity: Picture it!’’
What if we empower ourselves as we deserve to?
